I get great videos with fraps, just go half size. Halfsize is 640x480 on my pc. That is TV resolution, so it will look fine.

if you have fraps why not use it and using a phone cam or whatever you used...

Fraps creates choppy vids. The MBP's with the ATI X1600 GPUs don't have enough juice to run a game smoothly like HL2 while taking vids with Fraps.

If you look on the top-left screen, the FPS is shown (via Fraps) and I think the lowest was at 35FPS, which was at the begining.
