Crash on takeoff presumably due to right engine failure. Full left aileron and rudder wouldn't stop the roll. Minimal damage.

  • howed you know it was an engine out, i couldn't tell?

  • You can't hear it on the video, but I watched it in slow motion MANY times trying to see what happened and you can see the plane yaw to the right while still on the runway. It is also the only thing that I know that causes an airplane to do that.

  • yea, your right. It would be the only reseaon. so i geuss it wasn't a maiden. Hope she will fly again soon.

  • No, not the maiden, I think it was the 7th flight. I have replaced that engine and have had many very good flights with no further problems.

  • @benandrus A bit late but that was no engine failure. wasn't pilot error either though. You can hear the sound of both engines running in sync before you crash. The right wing tip hit the ground causing he entire plane to crash. also you weren't taking off into the wind it was side on.

  • Too short take off run

  • I have one of these and it did the same thing on the first flight, It crashed to the left and both engines were running.
