You make a really great list, but clover should top it, because the army flattened the city and can't stop clover. It doesn't mean that just because you can't really take a good look at him doesn't mean he's not capable. The film was taken from a pedestrian's point of view so you wouldn't really want to stand in front of the monster in his face. and there's a good look when Hud pointed his camera at the monster and you can see his whole body.
