Bela, a Persian Cat: Her Demands for Petting

Bela has a unique response to the appearance of her human: she quickly takes a petting pose, then jumps at the couch while leading me there with a gaze coupled with meowing. Once the petting starts, she purrs calmly and reacts promptly if the petting is interrupted, asking for more. She does this with vocalization and by touching her human with her paw.
