I disagree. Fable 1 is not the best. Fable 1- the Lost chapters. <-- THAT is the best.

I never did pick up fable 3 because I was so disgusted with 2. Fable 1 was an RPG with action elements. Fable 2 is an action game with RPG elements. Fable 2 had a trash story, mediocre music, and no map. You had to follow the golden piss trail blindly. The only thing Fable 2 did better than 1 was the combat system. It was a tad less hack and slash. Although the magic was dumbed down and a lot of cool spells were removed. Peter, YOU DO THIS SHIT ALL THE TIME!

The best Fable ever made! I still play TLC all the time. Although I enjoyed the story in the sequels, I think they shouldn't have been made from the start. The gameplay and lack of RPG elements in them made it nothing close to what a Fable game should be.

in the third one there's no health bar, they gave it the call of duty bloody screen, unlimited magic, granted in fable 1 skill was overpowered, but I beat the arena record only using will, and I was a strength focused hero...that's a bit lame to me, (not a big deal, also why change strength into blue orbs?) one thing that gets on my nerves in 3...I am playing pattie cake with a gaurd...
