A quote from Karl Marx is stated during the protest. The greed that always occurs under Communism was not mentioned.

The Occupy Little Rock group met at the River market Pavilion on Saturday October 15, 2011 to march. The March would stop at the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce, The Federal Reserve Office at the Stevens Building, Bank of America, The Federal Government Building, and then the State Capitol. Media reports claimed 500 people attended, but the crowd appeared to be around 300, far less than The Tea Party Rally at the Capitol or the March for Life. The Occupy Little Rock crowd behaved much more civilized than the squatters of Zuccotti Park. There was no pooping on cop cars, fighting, drugs, alcohol, perverted acts, littering, rioting, calls for violence or other Occupy Wall Street like actions.
There was the reading of the Declaration of the Occupation of New York City, a bizarre declaration that accused "they" of all kinds of grievances, without identifying "they". The solutions to these grievances, such as a $20.00 an hour wage, no debt, no creditors, open borders, and other unrealistic solutions were not read. Statements from the Unions, the ACLU, and a Marxist were made at the Capitol. No mention was made of how union corruption, junk lawsuits, and government regulations have harmed the vast majority of corporations that run are actually a benefit to this country. Also, no mention of Ad Busters, Alexa O'Brien's US Day of Rage, The Nation's Nathan Schneider, PR guy Patrick Bruner, Wylie Stecklow, the hacker group Anonymous, or any other Occupy Wall Street Organizers
Oddly enough, the Preamble to the Constitution was chanted before the march. The problems made by the Unconstitutional Federal Reserve were also mentioned, but not without the focus done by Campaign for Liberty or the Arkansas Libertarian Party. Less than ½ a dozen Obama signs were present, along with people registering the Green Party to be on the ballot.

  • Hey! It's me!!!

I feel like this title could be misleading, since I never claim to be a marxist, only a fan of a sign with a Marxist quote.

Aside from the Marxism.. did you have a complaint with the overall message?

(I will say my "all of this anger is compassion derived" comment was off due to my nerves and would agree that "not all of it" is a true thing)
