Boonta Training Course - Ben Quadinaros (No Upgrades) PODRacer - See Description

It's been so long since I've uploaded and I've just got a new disc, so sorry for the delay and poor camera quality and the long video... this course features a quick video of Ben Quadinaros on the Boonta Training Course with NO UPGRADES WHATSOEVER... obviously you can see the importance of cooling and afterburner timings here since despite a massive delay I still overheated too soon, still its quite interesting to see he is far quicker than any other podracer without upgrades as well... except Boles Roar who is actually Number 1 if you can control him on longer courses... supprising!!!!.... although Sebulba is supprisingly fast without upgrades, mostly I suspect because his top speed is not improved much with the upgrades, and I would strongly recomend Sebulba for doing other races if you don't like to go nuts on the afterburners Like I do and just want to win the race.

Think you can beat this??? Give it a try and upload a video, make sure you show that your podracer has no upgrades first.... I will do another video to show i didn't use upgrades as well.... also, I thought It would be nice to see a change of view for the race.....

I also have plans to attack my single lap record soon, but I will not be posting it here on youtube.

No upgrades at all I meant to add for this run, was just an exercise for me. This wasn't the best version of the run but it helps to appreciate some important characteristics of racing and technique for good lap times.

38 seconds with no upgrades?! That is crazy.

actually this is interesting... I had another go and got it down to 37 using quadinaros, but interestingly, with no upgrades, Boles roar is the best podracer for long, straight courses, I hit 2:05 3 laps on this track with boles roar, which is something I couldnt match Even with ben, although his traction is so bad I haven't managed to hit 37 sec with Boles but I did manage a 37.6 second lap with Boles roar soon after

@Mikeyburger3 Boles traction is abysmal even fully upgraded nevermind un-upgraded.

ha I know, well its harder, but if you can control him, you really get the reward. I think its odd how so many sorces differ in terms of podracer stats... in the films, Anakin supposidly has the fastest pod at 947 km/hr, something he has nowhere near in this game, where sebulba supposidly has the highest top speed excluding boost thrust, and Ben quadinaros being number 1 for maximum speed.

Ah yes, i see what you mean by the one long continuous boost into the tunnel.
