Been seeing a lot of DT vs. NM stuff. Really have no input on that seeing as I know very little of both bands. All I can say is, both are great and amazing bands, and this song fucking rocks

I fuckin love how EVERYBODY is jumping on the DT/NM bandwagon. It's impossible to tell who's more technical/better. When you are at both bands' level of masterey it's like going from 4/4 to 3/8. Both groups could easily play each others' material cause they are total masters. DT Have release a little more than NM and NM came later. Jeff could handle Petrucci stuff. John could handle Loomis stuff. That being said... a lot of NM stuff is in common time. DT plays in 15/8 (and such) often. Nuff said
