This was a test i shot just before shooting a recent music video with the HV20, it was shot in 24p Film mode with color tones on Vivid, Pretty much all of the pan and zoom shots were done digitally in Vegas 8.0

  • wow: central vision studios= not as good as universal studios.

  • @dougerber maybe because universal studios is actually a multi billion dollar distribution company, once you start owning rights to million dollar movies and theme parks, than come back and talk to me :)

  • @CentralVisionStudios don't worry mate, the net's full of morons. Nice work! My HV20's coming tomorrow and I'm looking on the net for inspiration and ideas. Loving this, well done!

  • @dougerber this footage is over two years old before DSLR cameras came out with 1080p recording, when the HV20 came out it stood above the rest of the consumer line in cameras because of its hdv recording and 24p mode

  • @dougerber

Actually, since then i got myself a Canon 550D and the footage is awesome. Mind you, I see the Nikon has auto-focus during movie recording. This is a serious omission with the Canon...

  • @parkvillepictures dude if you get one, don't get this one. get a dslr like the nikon d7000 or the d3100. you'll get 24p, 1080p and you'll just about p your pants when you see what the footage looks like. get an extra job and get one, well worth it.

  • @JuanitoRocks You have to remove the pulldown.

  • I see Captain Sparrow at 2:04

  • Can be the tapes you use.

  • Hey, i have an HV30. i record in 24p, and use Vegas to render the vids, but... they always come out looking like crap compared to this. can u give me some tips on the settings you use? I'd really appreciate it; thanks...
