what i care about as an american is my family and friends the troops and the people they are killing as well. humanity as a whole. i want he war ot be over so that the killing will stop on both sides. think of the soldiers who are dying but also think of the thousand of civilians, iraqi men women and children who are dying. as an american i can not just think of my self and"my people" but humanity as a whole.

If you actually bother to research this, you'll find out that countries with american military bases are more pro-american than countries without them.

The British controlled one third of the earth. The reason people accept dollars is because americans produce lots of things which they can buy with dollars, not because they are fools. The British lost the war while ruled by a crazy king, and lost their empire while ruled by a socialist that wanted to give the empire away.

The British Empire never had bases in 130 countries. We would not be able to prop up such and Empire if we had to pay everyone in gold. But since we print money from nothing, and convince the world that it has value, it is easy. The British Empire by the way lost the revolutionary war, their Empire came to an end.
