yeah you see them cones and if you're on a sports bike you'll just s*** a brick. I've been riding a cbr600 for a solid 6 months (first bike) and I still think those cones are too close. I haven't ridden anything but sportsbikes so I cant say which is easier, but I hear the turn radius on a sportsbike is s*** compared to other bikes, let alone a scooter.

12 feet apart is acually pretty easy, you just have to keep enough speed to not have to use you foot to balance or you get failed, make sure you have your visor down :/

@StokedBeastMotoDr Drive the offset weave with a scooter then try it on a large displacement sport bike then tell me what you think is easier.

@viggoM35 if anything the sport bike would be the easiest? but there only 12 feet apart?

In arizona, the cones are 12 feet apart

LOL It's funny I drove for a dozen years in CA and had to be re-licensed for NV. The cones are ridiculously hard to do on a sport bike. I told the tester; "these are way too close". She replied; "yeah everyone fails the cones the first time". I'm like WTF, so this is only engineered to create revenue for the DMV!!!
Never in my life of driving I had to maneuver in such a slow and tight space. Hell I'd like to see the fast ass tester do it. ☺
I've been licensed for 3yrs now. I don't even have the SilverWing anymore. I've since moved up to a Yamaha FZ6R sportbike.

I guess th gist of it is to swerve around cones?

@VinnyMartello
Yeah, without running any of them over and without putting a foot down. Put your foot down and its an immediate failure.
