The Deserted House....

AAAA. 291703Z JAN 2009 Life and thought have gone away side by side. Leaving door and windows wide. Careless tenants are they ! All within is dark as night : in the windows is no light ; And no murmur at the door, So frequent on its hinge before. Close the door ; the shutters close ; Or through the windows we shall see The nakedness and vacancy Of the deserted house. Come away : no more mirth Is here or merry-making sound. The house was builded of the earth, And shall fall again to ground. Come away : for Life and Thought Here no longer dwell ; But in a city glorious--A great and distant city--have brought A mansion incorruptible. AAAA. 062001Z DEC 2009 Dear MsRiggles; Thank you for the comment, as at present the builders moved in, to convert these two houses into a small Hotel...It now has a new roof and new windows at the top of of the building, and by the sound of the work going on the interior is being refurbished...If the Lord will I film it again when the work is nearly finished....Take good care and have a great week.......AR.
