@codenamegamma Ohh my bad i thought the 'Hedgehog Engine' referred to the type of Sonic that was used for a game like there was the Dreamcast Sonic, 06 and Modern i mean all three seem very different.

@kennysuavo i didnt use a tas i used an xbox 360 with an unmodified controller. you CANNOT tool Assist an xbox 360 game.

@RINGMASTER1118 tas is not cheating! i have a few tas speedruns on my channel called sonic 3 and knuckles first attempt speedrun and they were horrible! tas just slows it down and you may save or load when ever you wish

@sparkman62 actually the "Hedgehog Engine" was used in sonic unleashed, not sonic 06. and no ones thought to ask if Sonic Colors or Sonic Generations is running an updated version of the same engine.
no one knows what happened, but what it seems like they put a older out as retail since everything else, like E3 trailers and Even the XBLA Demo showed that the game was much more polished then what actually ended up on disk
but yes. hedgehog engine is sonic unleashed.
