@MrTen09 I agree fully, I would also like to add that never in 1000 years will you find someone that could hold the notes that perry could in his prime, BUT at the same time never find someone that hits as close to home as this guy.

After listening to both steve and arnel sing open arms and don't stop believing I can say that Steve Perry has a better range and a stronger voice for the arrangement. He also simply sounds better. However, arnel has a very good voice as well. As for NoSteveNoJourney goes, this person either is to bias because of how much they like Perry to see that Arnel is also very good, or they simply have no knowledge of what defines a good singer. Anyone with this can tell Arnel has talent. Period.

Arnel both vocally and performance wise is more contemporary, good choice from Journey cause now they have a chance of being popular with a new generation...Steve was good but maybe too cheesy for nowadays
