@centrum99 Now I plan to do the same on my left chin, where the scars are already flatter after 9 treatments, but still visible.
To sum it up: I suspect that unless you create a critical number of microwounds, the procedure is not effective. Instead of concentrating on the number of treatments, concentrate on their length. Naturally, I can't guarantee that it will work in you, and don't call me names, if it hurts you. But I tell my experience that may be useful for some others.

@centrum99 One day I told myself that I really have nothing to lose and I was rolling across the long scar (an area of approximately 2x3 cm) for about quarter an hour, maybe more. After I finished, my hands were shaking from the pain and stress that I had to endure. I expected nothing - as usually -, but after 5 days, when the scab fell off, I couldn't believe my eyes: The scar simply disappeared. I couldn't find, where it originally was!

I must tell you my experience: I had very unpleasant deep acne scars on my face and in the summer 2011 I decided to try dermarolling. The first two treatments at the doctor brought virtually no results. But since I had no other possibility, I bought a 2 mm dermaroller and continued in the treatments at home. Again, even after 9 treatments, the improvement was very minor at best. I was especially irritated by a 1 cm long groove on my right chin that showed absolutely zero changes.

i did the dermal needling and did not see much improvement. but i just found a product called dermaflage that is awesome. it totally covers my scars, i use it every day
