@viviyep They had the best army in World War II and then half of France then surrenderd to Germany lol, but they don't have the best army now. BTW French never saved the Americans, Americans saved France. In the Revelutionary war France only sent a large amount of troops and barley helped. Americans saved France on D-day when the French were getting slaughterd by Germany in WWII. Well there were also Britain and Canada but still. Im sorry to say but France has pretty much allways surrenderd.

@HavocUchiha History fail. Contrary to what you Americans might think, WW1 started in 1914, 3 years before the USA joined in. By 1917, the outcome of the war wasn't really in doubt. Germany's economy had taken a nosedive and production of materiel was barely able to keep up with demand. So if by "saved" you mean "entering a war that had been won by the UK and France already", then sure, the USA "saved" France.

@SailorSaturn143 lol, I don't know where you live dude but in France we never talk about the American Revolutionary War, so we don't "hold it over your heads" because we don't want nothing from America. And please stop saying "we saved their asses" because I don't think you personally fought in the WW2, did you? Finally the importance of the french contribution during the American War of Independence is universally recognized (by the Americans too), I have nothing to add lol.

What you meant to say was promised from the beginning of the Revolutionary War to show up and help, but couldn't find their way here until the very last battle at the last minute to block the seas. And then held it over our heads for the next 200 years even though we saved their asses after Germany took them over in all of a few weeks during WW2.
