POETRY PROJECT: A SONG IN PHILADELPHIA

Network's popular Poetry Project returns with a new take on the question that moves composers and poets alike: "What inspires a song?" For the answer, we turned to some of our friends here in the city: The Network Ensemble and spectacular guest soloists Susan Narucki and Randall Scarlata perform music by David Rakowski and Philadelphia's own Jennifer Higdon, and songs by Philadelphia's next generation of composers and poets.

Presented in partnership with The Philadelphia Orchestra as part of the Music Alive Program of Meet the Composer and the American Symphony Orchestra League.

Perelman Theater
Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts
Broad and Spruce Sts.
Philadelphia, PA

Tickets: $25/$10
Available at the Kimmel Center Box Office (215-893-1999), or online at www.kimmelcenter.org
