I dont think i ever had the impression that Kirk was anything other than a mellow person, any real Metallica fan can basically tell all of the bands personalitys just by the music, and like the music their personalities have changed ESPECIALLY LARS.

Kirk didn't steal shit, he got the greatest opportunity a lead guitarist could have. Well neither dave or kirk would of ever thought or knew that they would make it big and be influential guitarist to this day.
