Colfax is closed thanks to morons.

Trying this new spot outside Sacramento, and my XD40 Sub-Compact's first use, just got it on the 11th.

I seem to flinch on recoil with this gun, and not too thrilled with the trigger, but this is my first outing with it and only ran 300 rounds, not even half broken in yet.

Springfield Armory XD40 Sub-Compact, LaserLyte subcompact V2, Hogue Handall Jr. rubber grip

I need Night Sights for this thing.

Music Apollo 440 - The man with the harmonica.

I wasn't really going for proper aim and technique, this was my first outing new gun, I wanted to break it in, that takes lots of ammo, thus, just good'ol rapid fire gun fun at the range! Laser was used after sun set. people can bicker on about lasers and sights, to me both have their positives, its pepsi vs coke, I like both standard sights and laser, and I drink both pepsi and coke!

  • where is this shooitng range?

  • @arvdaugii Spenceville

  • @ApertureWolf , looks uncontrolled

  • @arvdaugii It not, its open BLM land, some days you will have a responsible group who all call for clear and look out for each other before resuming fire and calling it out, other days you get morons who just shoot without care of others or lack of safety.. its 50/50

  • Nice of the idiots to screw everything up for us all in Colfax...I can shoot at my parents house in Applegate until someone complains...Anyways I am trying to decide between the Glock 27 and XD Sub .40...Trying to get some opinions...What do you think?

  • @zsandbox that is all up to your hand and aim to decide. Both are great guns, but they will both fire differently depending on what kind and brand of ammo you shoot. In this video I was just breaking it in to loosen things up. check out local ranges that rent guns and see what they have to try, else go to a gun store and hold them both, and really let it sit in your hand a while to decide, try the triggers and feel the break on the hammers. Took me a year to make my choice.
