Cyprus Airways A330-243 final flight to London Heathrow

On Tuesday 30th August 2011, I flew from my homeland Cyprus, to London Heathrow Airport, England. The aircraft was Cyprus Airways A330-243 reg. 5B-DBT and named KERYNEIA.
Left from Gate 22 at Larnaca Airport and docked at Gate 121 LHR.

Great vid! I love Cyprus and love watching these vids! Is great when your flying into Cyprus on holiday, not so great leaving and landing back at Heathrow!!

@unstoppableguy Thanks man, love Cyprus too, I'm proud to be a Greek Cypriot, although I'm living in the UK, its my dream to live in Cyprus, love the island! I get really happy and excited when I'm on the way to Kypros, on the way back though, I'm a bit depressed, couldn't get a video on the way, left Heathrow at 10 at night on the CY333, pitch black, no point, the CY346 was fantastick for taking a video. Not great leaving and even more not great that we wont be travelling with the A330's anymor

@cypriot96 Hi, I love the island too! I never got to go this year but am planning to go for Greek Easter! I often go on that night flight and yes it is a shame. My favourite thing is when your near to landing and you see all the beautiful island and then Larnaca beach just before landing, love it!! It's magical! Cyprus Airways is cool too, but how come you won't be travelling on A330's anymore? :(

@unstoppableguy Unfortunately Cyprus Airways have agreed to sell the lease of the two A330-243 aircraft back to the leasing company, apparently its going to help the company a lot financially, in replacement there will be two A321 aircraft.

Monarch still use their a330 for this and paphos services

@cypriot96 Oh no, I had no idea, thats not a good sign then. So they will have no A330's at all? What a shame. I always enjoyed going on the A330 instead of the other smaller ones they use..sigh!
