Yes, you can certainly use your kitchen oven to bake in. Dedicate one glass oven pan for baking on, that you will never use for real food again. The only dangerous part are fumes if you burn it. Open the windows to air out the house. Yes, you can use a toaster oven but it typically burns more often.

  • Have you ever burned anything before?

  • @claymaking101 Oh yes. Many, MANY times. And lets not talk about my real food cooking skills. lol

  • @GardenOfImagination about the burning, will it hit the smoke alarm. u see, i just moved to a new apartment and the smoke alarm is very sensitive, i tried frying eggs with the vent and it hit the smoke alarm lol.... but i really wanna make polymer clay charms x[

  • @iGuiGuixD Set a timer and try not to burn any clay as the fumes are toxic. If you do, open a window. ANY smoke can set off a smoke detector. Doesn't matter if it's food or clay, it will still go off.

  • will It poison the food after using it to bake?

  • I have a question. My oven is broken, and we don't have extra spending money for a new one. I have a counter-top oven from Costco, and use it for food. Can I bake clay (Premo brand) IN that counter-top oven? Will it ruin the oven?
