With a win in this game, the Goldpanners would become the winningest team in NBC World Series history. What is even better is that they had the opportunity to set the record against Alaskan rivals and defending national champions, the Anchorage Glacier Pilots.

Zak Basch, the Goldpanners' pitcher, ends a fairy tale season by setting the all-time record for lowest ERA by a relief pitcher here in the 9th inning.

Gero von Dehn handles the play-by-play, and Todd Dennis produces the broadcast and does the camerawork.
