its perfectly clear now, Joe Lieberman enjoys it when american soldiers are killed. He loves it when the soldiers fighting iraq spill blood and are wounded for life. There is no other explanation for his illogical refusal to support the Webb amendment.

He never explained how giving the troops more time at home would damage the war effort. The reason is of course, because we could not maintain the troop levels w/such breaks.
Once upon a time when we needed more soldiers we'd draft them. That takes an act of congress, so thankfully its not going to happen, but the idea that re-using the same troops again and again is acceptable is NUTS and its little surprise that its a policy formed and endorsed by men who AVOIDED THE DRAFT IN VIETNAM.
