  • Now it's time to buy a new camera

  • LCD sucks. They have a worse picture, and have motion issues. Burn in on plasma is the thing of the past if you buy a new plasma (Pioneer, Panasonic, etc). PS: The new Panny Viera's are rated to last 100,000 hours before getting to half-brightness.

  • Yrh great doesnt say in the manual that they devolop vertical lines and only manufactures can mend them.. might as well buy a new one..

  • You do realize we can't actually see the quality of picture in a youtube video right?

  • i got one today=)

  • does anyone kno the difference between these 2 panasonic models TH-42PZ80A vs TH-P42G10A. Pls help me i am clueless with this sort of stuff

  • ive heard a few people say anything under 32in get lcd, but anything higher get a plasma, iv got a 42 viera panasonic plasma and i wudnt change it, its fantastic and panasonic also make pioneer!

  • *continued* Also, viewing angles on LCD cannot compare to that of plasma because when your not directly in front of an LCD, you will lose image quality. Look these problems, LCD's manafacturers have improved on these problems over the years, but they are not in the league of a plasma due to thier technology etc. I could go on but believe me, this is all fact, check it out for yourself. Plasma is better for movies, natural and vivid image quality and fast motion. Learn a bit before u reply. Bye.

  • Plasma's are fine in both bright & dark rooms, whereas LCD's slight dim in dark rooms. Most good plasma's now use "Anti-glare" panels, & LCD's can also have glare but it's not a big deal it can be fixed, wheras LCD's inherent technology which consists of slow response time's that cause ghosting & motion blur cannot be fixed. Not even with 100hz which then causes haloing & artifacts. LCD's have a synthetic look about em with slow response times, low contrast ratio i.e greyish blacks....

  • lol ur a a dumb ass LCD is better because u have to be n dark room lcd u dont have to also lcd does not have a glare like plasma thats why u have to be n a dark room lcd rocks and plasma doesnt

  • Iv'e since got a plasma about 9 months ago, and seriously bake, you couldnt be more than right. Burn in and all the bullshit myths ARE a thing of the past. Ive watched and compared the best LCDs to plasmas and in all homnesty, there is no comparson. Plasmas ARE the way to go. NO BURN AT ALL~QUALITY IS SECOND TO NONE. Forget LCD's. Plasma is the way to go... Too bad marketing is making the mainstream (i'e sheep) think otherwise. If any1 thinks other wise, dont mean to be harsh, but do ya research
