A disbarred New York lawyer who lost her gambling addiction lawsuit has been sentenced to three to nine years in prison for stealing from her client escrow account to support her casino sprees. according to the story.Taveras had claimed in her lawsuit that seven casinos failed to stop her compulsive gambling that led to $1 million in losses. A federal judge dismissed the suit last year.

You have to laugh though seriously, in Taveras "Justification Response" she says "it is not about the money" I am just suing for 20 million dollars...ridiculous! Your not the first person to have lost their job, family, house and friends from a gambling problem. You don't think someone has tried sue the gambling industry before? Its called free choice, how are Casino's supposed to look out for other people well being???!!! Retarded thinking, there a business. They want your money!!
