IMPORTANT! there is NO Axillary artery OR Brachial artery! plus we easily get mixed up with our Left and Right directions. as long as you know which side is which, then don't worry about it. sorry for the mix-up.
the branches coming out of the aorta are the Left Subclavian and Brachiocephalic and NOT right subclavian. Also, the common ccarotid arteries branch off of the brachiocephalic, and at that point the brachiocephalic becomes the right sublcavian.
