Hey! I see Ken Thomas! He used to be in charge of the pitch pipe for this song. LOL This is exactly what I was looking for this Memorial Day. I was in Concert Choir from 1990-1997 under T.R. Smith and we used to circle up and sing the first and last verses with any alumni in the audience after every concert. I think it was about 1995 when we dropped the fourth verse. I'm so glad that the tradition is still carrying on.

i just got done with my first au concert and it almost made me cry... the tradition is so deep in the choir there with dr. smith. He conducted this song and it was amazing to see all of the alumni and present members join in singing this song...

As a member of the AUCC for 4 years (93-97), I'm so proud to hear y'all perform this so beautifully. This song sounds just like this in my memory.

Excellent! You have a well-blended group there! The only thing I didn't like is that there is a high-pitched whine coming from the recording itself.
