This is what Fixed Point is about. We're dedicated to the free and open exchange of ideas. And we're confident Christianity can hold its ground. We bridge the sacred and the secular - empowering believers, challenging skeptics.
i find it funny that they butchered the Pascal quote they used, its funny to me, because if you read the actual quote, in its entirety, it says something completely different. Good going on using fear to preach your message. Christianity is NOT about fear, but about a loving and forgiving god. It truly saddens me to see a religion based on love respect and caring for ones neighbor turned all too routinely into damnation if we dont act the way the fundamentalists want us to.
considering that steady advancements in scientific knowledge serve only to undermine premises made in the Bible. Such as the age of Earth (4.57 billion years +-1% through carbon dating), our shared dna with other species of hominid and ape, the existence of dinosaurs (not mentioned in the bible (try getting a couple of stegosaurus on a boat)) the many flaws in the creation story such as (plants before light). Why should I put my faith in the Bible? Is there any science that supports the Bible?
Fixed Point is one of the very few serious and intelligent organizations that defends Christianity without arrogance and bigotry. Atheists are in a real challenge.

It seems to me that if 'God' is "forever the same" ( let alone "is"), it would be in the apparent fact that 'he' is forever change.
