I have good news and bad news... the goodnews is that that pony has an amazinf little jump in it she looks dead smooth to ride too the bad news s that you o need to put your hands a bitfurther fowrd like half-way up the neck i only do that wierd position when the hore gallps off in a jump off! lol otherwise you two are meant to be together!
my hands are further back because i was to big for her so if i put my hands forward my hands would have been by her ears and would have put her way off balence
u need to get your hands way more forward if ur going to ride in a half seat. that just unblanaces ur horse. i dont have a problem with huntseat riders leaning forward, but do it correctly. and press before a jump to keep the same pace.

hunter seat.
they are supposed to stay in two point or half seat. its just the position in that class.
im a dressage rider so butts to saddle for me. :p
