  • A German scientist once said:

''The main reason why the world warms up isen't only because of the human activaty on earth.

The biggest cause is that this age is like an ice age but then more like an heat age.''

That sounds more belevable to me.

And if the only reason would be human activity they'd better start doing something in America and Asia, man look at L.A. lots of useless electricity being used, and SUV's being drived (not only in L.A. offcoure, just for example)

  • I completely agree...we should create a bipartisan platform and help move the country in the right direction.

  • To read climate science straight from the mouths of scientists, visit the RealClimate page. Just google "real climate" and you'll find it easily.

  • Its interesting you say that. I'm a supporter of Sen Obama. Theres a real lack of compromise in D.C right now. I do think a campaign should be run on issues instead of fear and rhetoric. I just hope Sen Obama choses not to run on global warming fears and insteads concentrates on integrity and fact.

  • I will be entering the political arena. Trying to learn the ropes from watching the game. I say we work alongside on this issue? Do you think you may be interested in such a campaign?

  • I think that Obama is very smart, but I do not agree with his Global Warming point of view. I think we should wait on a real answer from Science before we make a decision that will impact every American. Furthermore, I do not agree with his idea of taxing CO2 use, especially since it has nothing to do with climate change. While I'm not a Democrat, he is the best candidate from the left. What do you believe?

  • Good to hear. I do health risk assessment for industrial work centers and have studied alternative fuels and their impacts as well as radon, engine byproducts, water contamination, and controls for contaminants. Are you looking to enter the political arena? Do you support Sen. Obama?

  • Well, good sir, I have studied not only meteorology and oceanography, but also wave particles and remote sensing, which taught the effects of various particles in the atmosphere. Did you know that water vapor is the biggest greenhouse gas? I find it ironic that we're moving to hybrid cars that emit water vapor byproducts, and we're hoping to cool the Earth. I would love to discuss with you offline.

  • TylerTCF, you are very well informed. What areas have you studied to make your determinations? I would like to discuss with you offline your thoughts on environmental political issues.

  • Why bother - its clear you've made your choice. I'm actually glad you believe what you do. I think we need to start cleaning up our mess. If unnatural global warming gives you your motivation - so be it. Try not to use fear though - I think the current administration has used enough of that to degrade our country...don't you agree?
