The much feared proscribed sect has been thrust into the public domain, courtesy of the pre-trial hearings in The Hague. The involvement of the Mungiki sect in the post election violence has always been a well-known fact. But it is at the ongoing confirmation hearings at The Hague, where the prosecution has for the first time attempted to reveal what it claims to have been an intricate co-operation between the terror gang and the sitting government, at the height of the post poll chaos. Jane Kiyo takes a closer look at the dreaded sect and the renewed interest in it, stemming from the ICC pre-trial process.

  • hehehehhee this are bad than alshabaab

  • if at all they are inspired by MAU MAU,am sorry that time it was against british imperialists, but now for sure they are total fools because black man against a black man they wont win any war instead that will be another genocide...why are these people so illiterate? just a dollar to kill? amkeni enyi wajinga

  • @kanyaugatiejagwo...Thank you. I think we should now start speaking against these gangsters. The more we show that they are a minority, the more chances we have of saving our innocent peoples lives. We are all Kenyan with chances of equal opportunity if steer the wheel in the right direction. Lets start defeating the devil and we will all enjoy 2012.

  • Haaaaaaa i like seeing these fools who are busy defending mungiki when they are killing their own . They would never feel sorry if they found the foolish Karuithas or jadogos family. They will rape your mothers n sisters and hack the rest of you. Brainwashed Kenyans.

  • Groups like Mungiki are a bad example to all of us in Kenya. Divisiveness, unthinking illiterate unforgiving separatism and gang mentality is not what we need in Kenya. WE ARE ONE PEOPLE and those who work to divide us should be done away with. The actions of the mungiki and any other group out there for that matter should be deemed treasonous. THIS IS NOT WHO WE ARE...WE MAY BE POOR, HUNGRY, OPPRESSED, BUT I STAND TO BELIEVE THAT DESPITE OUR DIFFERENCES...WE ARE ONE PEOPLE WE ARE KENYANS!!

  • @nyarbondo1 Agreed!! I guarantee you there are some here who are are on a payroll or two to spew hate...It is always refreshing to see sober people try to restore sanity to these sick minds.

  • @nchiyangu Well said!!!

  • @nyarbondo1...I have also noticed this in most of his/her comments. Such people are corwards who probably don't know any better. Good news is they represent the minority. Most Kenyans are drifting away from tribalism. The few frustrated immigrants who have hopeless thoughts have nothing to look forward to but incite others back home. Call me naive but reality is what you make out of it. Uhuru was one big frustrated immigrant who chose to move back home with the stupid mentality. Where is he now?

  • @nchiyangu people like jdagoo have a deep hatred for certain tribes, maybe he is suffering from some complex. its not even worth reasoning with him at this point.

  • TheCrazyclan2009, jdagoo24, karuitha.....Kenyan Statistics show that most people were incited by Kenyans in the diaspora. It seems like all of you live abroad and are busy blogging and supporting such issues that affect our brothers and sisters lives back home. When violence erupts you and your families become immuned. WE SIMPLY SAY NO TO YOU! STOP THE VIOLENCE!
