10/30/11 Congressman John Garamendi (D-CA) appears on Fox News to discuss how health care reform helps millions of Americans to obtain health care. This includes seniors, young adults, and Americans who are single or married.
At Contra Costa College we have instructors who simulate the occupy movement so that we students can have a protest movement experience without leaving the campus. I tell myself, I just have to get through the semester, so I can get my credential upgraded. I know I am not going to get a job because of the gangs so it really doesn't matter in the final analysis anyway. It's OK because if it was a real experience, my eyes would be burning from the tear gas and I would never go back.
A bizarre practice is that medical personnel find out a person's record of misdeeds, then they remind the person of what they did wrong so they will believe that they got sick because they were bad. How crazy is that? The Jews had laws about EVERYTHING and people who broke the dietary laws got sick. So if you were sick, it was because you were bad. So now only good people get medical care, is that it? Lots of people (like my relatives) think being poor means a person is a bad person.
Please stand fast in defense of Obamacare. Yes of course no law is perfect for all situations everywhere. But it doesn't have to micromanage medicine. It just has to get people well enough to go back to work, and not let them be medically PUNISHED with a life-long illness Tuskeegee-style, that could have been cured when young. They are being PUNISHED by drunks, by being denied treatment for illnesses caused, for example, by government officials demanding that citizens lose weight.
Oppose Obamacare!
