when cod4 was out..this was the first tutorial on youtube that showed alot of us, on how to record with cod4player :)

i open the cod4 player

i run cod4 patch 1.7

i go into a game

i type in console /record knife_madness

it starts recording

than i type /stoprecord

than i close cod4

than i choose open demo in cod4 player

than it opens a folder ''main'' and in that is a folder ''video'' in there is nothing.

wtf i do wrong

this means that.....in game-record is better and fast aswell....while fraps should be used just to make the output of the demo....just for editing! I get it!!!!!!

i dont have the demos folder at all.i had it in none of /main or / players,it.a friend of mine created it in /player and worked,than i created in /main but it works not

have any idea?

@acromine579 It should be in "man - Demos" but if you are recording in a modded lobby you have to go to "call of duty4 - Mods - (then which ever lobby you were in) - Demos

@HektiiKGamingAU You can't you must use a program like fraps, if you want to fraps lag free, what you do is set your fraps to record at 3fps (virtually lag free) and have cod player play back at 1/10th speed, then when you speed it up in a editing program it'll be as smooth as it would playing it back at normal speed but recording with 30fps
