This is a documentary of "Wings of Russia" studio about history of development of Russian Aviation. It contains a lot of unique video footage. The documentary speaks about creation and development of fighters, bombers, helicopters, reconnaissance planes, hydro-planes, planes of civilian Aviation and also about sport and training Aviation, in the USSR and Russia.

@Mgilvan2002 "Wings of Russia" studio has 2 series "Armor of Russia" and "Cars with shoulder mark". The first one is about history of Soviet/Russian Armored Forces. The second one is about military cars and trucks in service since WW I.

Problem is that I can't find them with original English narration. So, I'll have to translate them myself and add subtitles to them...

Still the use of human spies is the best technique, the high tech toys are just confirming what was gathered or where to look.The radio/radar and imagery is very important but often people are over excited when they see high end toys giving them all the trust.

good luck finding English versions of the series on Tanks and Artillery. looking forwards to them. I'm an Aircraft engineer by trade and  must say this is the best aircraft series i've ever seen!
