Mrs. Nicolson's workshop tackles the tumblewing and paper airplane surfer walkalong gliders. The students create runways from which to launch the paper airplanes. Takeoffs are made from a stand such that the paper airplane surfer will be in the lift generated by the sheet of either cardboard or transparent lexan. Part of the student led experimentation takes them outside to try flying the paper airplanes.

  • The redheaded expert "ringer" is paperairplanesurfer, aka Phil Rossoni, one of the "leading lights" in the still-young field of walkalong gliders or (paper or foam. . .) airplane surfers. I assume Mrs. Nic brought him in as a resource for her class.

  • i hate this child :)

  • @Redeemed52597 is it possible to make an indoor flight with the 22lb A4 paper? or will tissue paper work better as in this video?
