Look at the video again. I think the message you want it to convey is in there. Note how the music changes as the images shift from very very long range views, to views of objects whose scale we inhabit. Yes it's inconvenient that the long-distance views of the tests are strangely beautiful, in the abstract. Art is not usually convenient in this way; if it didn't arouse something in you, why bother? If the artist only came up with a political statement, he would probably feel he fell far short.

I like your work very much and I know how much work was behind it, I have a moral problem with it though. Yes, these explosions are beautiful in a ghastly unearthly fashion, but they're not meant to be meddled with. And whether or not it was your intent, you show nuclear energy in a euphemistic light which I find a rather disgusting thing to do, man.
It would have been a much nicer thing in my opinion to MAKE IT A POLITICAL STATEMENT! Nuclear energy has to be accepted as KNOWN BUT UNUSED!

yeah, I'm biased. But this is a gorgeous composition, well structured, beautifully sung and recorded. Perfect for the visuals.
