Been talking about this for years--before I had a phone, before anyone I know had a phone. Undoubtedly they are a great convenience, but damn; we're just blindly investing more of our lives (literally) into these things every month or so when a new device comes out (and we rush to get it), ignoring the fact that they are essentially GPS/tracking nodes: you can be found anywhere, anytime, by anyone really trying to find you. The companies developing these phones work with government agencies.

I got this problem now where my razr phone will be on, getting 4 bars but people will call me but the call won't get put through & they'll leave a message, Sometimes it'll be like 3 hrs before T- Mobile alerts my phone that someone left a message on my phone account. Whats going on here? Why is T-Mobile putting my voice mail messages on hold before letting me at them?
