if you don't know anything for certain, don't say anything., they"ve never said what the cause of death was, so no more speculation.

i up'ld this video to celebrate the LIFE of Allen Woody, not his death, thank you.

  • @jdub1013 , You fucking asshole, how dare you post that bullshit. That information was NEVER made available to the public, how would you know?--------make sure whoever said he OD'd gets a slap in the mouth, like Mike Gordon almost got for saying the same thing!!

  • Allen Woody sure could roll on that bass. I even heard him do a transition to jazz, back to rock. Long live Woody.

  • @91AZM

I'm not sure , but it melted my fuckin' computer .

  • What's the last song played??

  • @smitty8812 Rocking Horse

  • He was the best

  • I've never been sadder because of one mans death.

  • got so lucky to be able to see him in so many dingy joints in the 90s but what huge props you have to give warren and him for building up the rep of the mule from the ground ground up even though they were already established as members of the ABB

  • I visited the Big House a few weeks back . I didn't realize Mule rehearsed there before kicking the door wide open . They had some of Woody's arsenal on display . Among those were " Thor " ( An 18 string beast ... the one he uses for Whipping Post on Live At Great Woods ) and his " Mandobass " . He'll always be known for thunder , but the man was a master of most all stringed instruments .

If you're ever in Macon , Ga. , you owe it to yourself to visit the Big House .

  • @gmule What's the name of this video? Is it Allen Woody's own Hot Licks video, or is it the "Learn Bass With the Greats"? The Mule footage kills!
