@midarkmind Heero's ~'official' ethnicity is Japanese, according to data books and the producers. It's often hard to tell with anime characters, and you're not remotely the only fan that thinks he could mixed, but it's hardly impossible to find Japanese people with slim noses, and again, all official info points to 'Heero=Japanese.'
Find me a fifteen year old girl with long blonde hair, straight bangs, and a school uniform, and I will happily use her instead. No, seriously. Try to find one. :)

Damn, some of these comments hating on the trailer need to calm down. This trailer was pretty awesome :) I know I'd love to see Gundam brought to life on the big screen. We've seen how badass the Transformers look in live action. I bet they could make some killer Gundams nowadays.

@june0024 TBH the US has done a good job with comic book adaptions (like Iron Man) and special effects (Transformers and whatnot). I'd be happy to see a Japanese-controlled production with CGI from the US and an international cast. (I loved, for example, the live action Death Note. I didn't so much from a realistic point of view love the obviously computer-animated Ryuk.)

Wow, let's edit footage from good movies to make a trailer. Then mix is some audio from the anime and what do you get? A steaming pile of whatever you call this. Cameras are cheep now a days and all computers come with editing software. Get some actors and do it right next time!

If I don't pay tuition, rent, or for food, I could pay for a movie with Transformer's budget ($400M) in.. *calculates* approximately 30,000 years.
No matter. I'll just quit school and 'get some actors' (can you buy in bulk? Is there a bargain rack?) and a 'cheap camera' while I create CGI Gundams from scratch on my 'computer that came with editing software.'
It would look so convincing. :') Thanks for the suggestion! <3
