I really like this group and the music it is so beautiful. But are you really from Poerto Rico? Most of the members look european- a few mixed-but i did not see africans, nor mexicans- What is the reason for this? Are the members the children of inmigrants or foreigns living in Poerto Rico? - I knew Ricky Martin was from Poerto Rico but I knew his father was an American and his mother was from Europe.

Yes, we are from Puerto Rico, a Caribbean island.
Mexico/ Africa are different countries, and though we have great friends there, its a lot of distance, so they will have a hard time getting to rehersals :-).

Puertorrican race is a mix between the Tainos (original inhabitants of the islands), Spanish conquistadores and Africans brought to the island by the spanish. There is a very diverse "look" in our race and the music reflect some of that mix. A great deal of influence from the Canary islands can also be noticed here. Thus, the European look of some.
