Miss Helen Arlt dances and sings at Fritzel's

Helen Arlt is a regular on the New Orleans Jazz scene. She is 87 years old and can often be found late into the evenings dancing at the clubs around town. She is the past-president of the New Orleans Jazz Club and is credited with bringing Louis Armstrong back to the city in 1965. She is a delightful lady who brings joy to those who are lucky enough to be at a jazz club when she is there. On this night, she is at Fritzel's on Bourbon Street where Tom Fischer gave her the microphone to sing "Can you shimmy like my sister Kate". I think the answer to that is yes. Go Miss Helen!!
