Please, please only foil the powders after you tap them onto a surface that will never allow the powders to be returned to the container. Adding water to the powder can be a lovely and well thought out invitation to bacteria, yeast and mold. None of which you want in your eye. I place a tiny bit in a ketchup cup, buy bunches online, or at a local restaurant supply place, cheap. Use a small, disposable spatula, to scrape off a tiny amount, or scoop a tiny amount into the cup. You'll use it all.

can you foil with pressed eyeshadows? or do you have to have loose pigments? also what is the differance from wet app foiling and getting product dry on your brush and spraying it with setting spray then applying it? ive seen a lot of ppl do this and i want to know if its a "proper" makeup application or waste of product and time... thanx xox

The difference is instead of just applying a wet pigment on your eyelid, your applying a base color (dry or wet) and putting a DIFFERENT shimmery color on top. (with a wet application). your basically layering two different colors.
