It would be a better idea to get the latest supported drivers from your device/system manufacturer.

@mandai2 - The problem there is that the system manufacturers rarely list ALL of the drivers along with available updates and when users start to add external devices the device/system manufacturer will be of no use to them :-)

@cotojo1253 I think that depends on which manufacturer you go with.

All the main system and device manufactures (Dell/Toshiba for example) have all the needed drivers available to download on their websites.

If the manufacturer is unavailable you could always search by the hardware id of your device (found in device manager details, usually PCI\VEN_xxxx&DEV_yyyy)

Personally I don't trust these 3rd party driver update programs.

@mandai2 - This is a simple program to use, although I would not leave it running on startup as it is unnecessary, but it does collect and download outdated drivers as needed and it is also safe to use :-)

im trying 2 get my mic to work do u think this program will give me the driver 2 my already installed mic? bcuz i try to make videos with sounds on wmm with the capture video option and sound doesnt come i always end up puting music bcuz the fuzzy sound annoys me

loganfan103 - It will update your sound card drivers which will also include your mic, also check sound settings in Control Panel :o)
