@purplepenguin91 u know thats what i thought at first too, & believe me, im not buffy's biggest fan, i never liked how she treated spike. but after watching them again knowing what happens, i saw that she really was falling in love with spike. i mean looking at the last ep alone, she said she wasn't really ready for love, but looking at the way she was with spike in the last 3-4 episodes, you can really see that she was falling in love with him. it might not be enough, but it was there.
