Ninja Gaiden 2 (NES) Musicruise Sound Test

Classic game with great music.

To access the Musicruise, press and hold Up/Left, Select, A, and B before pressing start on the 1st time the title screen appears.

If you wait for the screen to become black, press start and do the above code to pick Irene on the 2nd time the Title appears.

To get Ryu and Irene, let the screen go black once, press start, let it go black again, press start again, then do the code from above.

@RurouniMonster Try the code whenevr the screen blacks out. If you watch my video, you'll notice that I wait for the screen to change first. Good luck!

You could certainly try. I've noticed that this trick doesn't work on certain NES consoles/emulators. I tried this trick on a genuine NES and it didn't work, then I tried it on a "GN Twin" console and it worked fine.

I'm able to play emulators on my PSP and it doesn't seem to work on certain revisions of "Nester" for PSP. Strange.

If you get this to work on Virtual Console, I'm sure other would like to know about it too.

It's funny how Irene shoots a gun during the sound test, as she is portrayed as a damsel in distress throughout the entire game and only becomes a bad ass in part III :).
