I agree that Taste (J.Wilson, R or C McCracken and Rory, was his best band.
I saw them many times in Rory's spiritual and musical home, Belfast, and it was always magical.
They were on at the famous Isle of Wight festival 1970, and I was proud to be able to tell some English chaps that they were my countrymen - what a great band!" - JW says he has never had the same rapport with any musician since - those were the days!

Haha just listened to "Feel so Bad" .
Kind of ironic..

What a bass solo! And a nice picture of a very young Rory at 2:05

I lost sight of the Isle of Whight album for years
Like I did with so many other things, unfortunately...
I thought this was from the IOW album
I did not know they had more than one live album
I envy you, I would have loved to have been at the Isle of Wight with you!!

Hello joeat963!
Glad to hear you thought as much about this LP as I did, had it and I wore it out in the early seventies and had to buy another. Seen Rory many times live in the early seventies but I did prefer his style when he was with Taste.
One more track to go and the whole 'Live Taste' album is up..another cracker 'Same old story' I'll do it soon as I have the time.
Dave.
