http://www.wildhorsesblog.co.uk: Wild Horses, the enchanting track from The Rolling Stones 1971 album Sticky Fingers has been covered by Kitty Hudson in order to raise money for The Big Issue, The U.K. based charity helping the homeless. Certain harmonies and melodies have this odd pull on our heartstrings. They are like sad oboes or something, something that makes you want to throw all your money at the radio whilst yelling I love you. I dont know what it is exactly but we seem to have harnessed it claims Richie Hudson on reflection of their outstanding cover.

The Big Issue exists to offer homeless and vulnerably housed people the opportunity to earn a legitimate income. They produce a weekly entertainment and current affairs magazine which vendors buy for 75p and
sell to the public for £1.50, keeping 75p for themselves. Vendors must adhere to a code of conduct whilst selling the magazine. They believe in offering a hand up, not a hand out, but they also recognise that earning an income is the first step on the journey away from homelessness. The Big Issue Foundation is a registered charity which exists to link vendors with the vital support which will help them address the issues which have led to their homelessness. The Foundation works exclusively with vendors, offering support, advice and referrals.

You may have heard the opera singer Susan Boyle singing this on Americas got talent and the word on the street is that she will release this at some point as a single.

100% of all the profits from the sale of Kittys single will go to the homeless charity and even though Susan Boyle has the huge Simon Cowell marketing machine behind it, Kitty Hudson are hoping that their version will raise awareness of the problems that face people living on the streets.

The South London bands sublime acoustic version was recorded in late September by Keef and Richie Hudson at Scream Studios, Croydon with the legendary knob-fiddling producer Andy Brook who commented, It was great to work with the rock n roll harmony machine of Kitty Hudson in first class action for the good of a greater cause

Kitty Hudson have set up a blog site http://www.wildhorsesblog.co.uk where people will be able to download the single and donate to the charity. It would be great if you could donate towards such an honest cause and dont forget to pass on the charity by passing on the link to friends and family.
