Paul Waaktaar-Savoy is collaborating with Jimmy Gnecco on a new project called Weathervane. "Weathervane" is the title track from the forthcoming movie Headhunters, based on the book by the internationally known Norwegian author Jo Nesbø.

Paal didn't want to split with A-ha...he wanted to continue, remember that. So no wonder this song is influenced by A-ha songs, since Paal also wrote most of the songs by A-ha.

I hope there song isn't a "one shot" and that an album will be forthcoming. This is a great blend of styles with Jimmy bringing the darker (and ridiculous incredible voice) vibe and Paul adding his pop sensibilities. Look forward to more.

I forgot to mention that Jimmy Gnecco and his band were soooooo nice and down-to-earth when we visited with them after a-ha's farewell Nottingham concert. They very kindly signed our poster that read, "We love a-ha, Arizona, USA." They were fun, conversational, easy to talk with, yet also soft-spoken. So sweet. We liked them very much and will support them. Cool guys!!!

We met Paul and Jimmy after a-ha's farewell concert in Nottingham. Great opening performance by Jimmy Gnecco and his band. They do sound like a-ha. Awesome.
