Walkera 4#3 Brushless

Mods on the 4#3 V2:
-Losi Xcelorin 10250kv brushless main motor with a Xingqiong XP-7A ESC and TheSteve's brushless converter
-Shortened flybar (55mm) with small (V1) paddles
-Small rubberband to 'fixate' the swashplate
-A piece of foam (EPP) glued to the battery tray to absorb hard landings.

Total weight is 54 grams and the flight time is around 10 minutes with a Walkera 400mah lipo.

It's still a bit unbalanced since the tail wags slightly. Gotta fix that...

There's a Walkera 4#3 brushless thread on rcgroups, and some have posted detailed build logs.

that's a cute little heli... can it do hardcore 3D???

The 4#3 is a fixed pitch heli, so 't can't do hardcore 3D.

But Walkera has plans to release a collective pitch heli (same size as the 4#3) by the end of 2008 (the 4G3). That bird should be able to do some 3D.

The motor may get a bit warm, but certainly not hot. The ESC stays cool.

4#3B is the better and newer version of the 4#3

hi mate, i know you can get brushless motors for the 4 3b, but can you get them for the 4 3, and what is the main differance between the 4 3b and 4 3? thanks
