I love the country and camping, but I am afraid of animals that might have me for dinner....LOL

"...stay out of lakes and ponds during the aligators dusk 7 night feeding time". WT??? I'd stay out of lakes & ponds at ALL times if there's aligators in it. What do they mean only at feeding times? Like I'm gonna look at my watch and say to myself "oh ok, sure there are gators in the water but it's not dusk or dawn so it's safe to go in". Yeah, right. WTF are they smokin???

To those of you saying they wouldn't swim in Florida's waterways: I was born & raised here, been in swamps & waterways all my life. Swam around a lot of big gators too. I still have all my parts. Face it, the boy got stupid. He didn't wait & scan the lake for 30 minutes to see if a gator would surface. Due to his stupidity the gator had to be destroyed (somebody was probably feeding the damn thing & got it human-habituated). That's one of the reasons I don't swim in urban waters.
